Ban PitBulls
Dog bite severity varies by the breed of dog, and studies have found that pit bull–type dogs have both a high rate of reported bites and a high rate of severe injuries, compared to other non–pit bull–type dogs.
Pit bull–type dogs are extensively used in the United States for dogfighting, a practice that has continued despite being outlawed. Several nations and jurisdictions restrict the ownership of pit bull–type dogs through breed-specific legislation.
The sole goal for this comm is to ban pit bulls from every jurisdiction and to treat the remaining ones with respect while every caretaker follows the required safety precautions to keep everyone safe. Dog breeds with documented health issues should also be prevented from being forcibly bred into this world.

Pitbulls are massively demonized. Dogs pick up on the scent cocktail from stress. You wanna get chomped you go with Chihuahua or a terrier. Corsos and even rotties are still more risky, by the numbers.
Without MSM boosting pitty stories, you'd be more comfy knowing they're second only to goldies for being chill. Really really, donkey.
Let's ban Chihuahuas too then. Not because they're dangerous though.
Absolutely. People forget that all dogs are pack predators that you are inviting into your house. Any dog may bite and all need training and socialization. I guarantee the owner knows exactly why the dog bit them.
The most violent dog I ever met was a little demonic Chihuahua and the biggest marshmallow of a dog was a Doberman. I knew a massive rottie that lost an ear while murdering the fuck out of a beaver, but would be gentle as could be with kids. I owned a standard poodle who could be absolutely terrifying, but only because she was heavily abused by her previous owner. With a lot of training and patience, she because the best dog I've ever had.
You're absolutely right about pittys being more like Golden's than anything. They are big dopey cuddlebugs who love nothing more than romping around playing with kids. Its amazing seeing how gentle and patient they are when a young child is climbing all over them.
