I've been listening to Umineko soundtrack over the last few day and man... just hearing these songs again hits as hard as when reading the VN. These emotions just stay with you.
Speaking of Umineko, if anyone here knows Japanese and is interested in theatre, the 4 episodes of Umineko stageplay are currently available for free on the Shinidan YouTube channel until September 5th.

On the actual reading side, I decided to check out Rescue Refused linked previously by @Elevator7009sAlt@ani.social. It's pretty neat.
There isn't much there due to the game jam limits it was made for but it was a short and enjoyable idea with cute art style.
Next up is another short VN, Here Even The Sun Shines Differently. It's a story about an Ukrainian refugee who migrated to Japan after Russian invasion. It talks about the feeling of isolation as well as (not) adjusting to new environment and reality. Pretty emotional journey despite its length (under an hour of reading), has some light horror elements throughout.
Demo for PROJECT MIX received a new update. It's only some technical stuff like bug fixes, intro skip and Simplified Chinese localisation but I'll take any chance I can to shill the game (please end up good and don't do anything stupid that'll make me regret this devs!).
Give it a shot if you'd like to play Va-11 HALL-A in VR.
Lastly, no patch list updates this month. I didn't stumble on any new projects during my random browsing and I didn't have time to do some proper searching. Feel free to drop a comment or message me if you know of anything worth adding to the list (both old and new).
