Assuming we even get an election in 2028, and it's somehow a fair election, we're going to need an older white man to run against Trump, or Vance, or whoever the GOP puts up. Because, there's no way disgruntled Trump voters are going to vote for a woman.

We need disaffected voters. Progressives will actually get them motivated. I don't give a shit about demographics. Get a progressive, any progressive, up there.
