After leaving my first fiance, I vowed id never go back to this state.

Lol im back, and its just as I remembered it! Aside from all the obvious sociopolitical issues, last night's venue had NO fucking idea how to run our show.

Staff had confusion over door and set time, and they had a major touring package playing out back. They asked us to "merge the shows" somehow cause rain was due, and the outdoor show got shut down. It would have been fine with us, but we had to say no because the locals we booked could not be playing late for whatever reasons. That lead to them just cutting the outdoor show, eventually, and having us start our gig on a whim.

Like, alright, this CANNOT BE A SPECIAL SITUATION! WHAT IS YOUR USUAL PROCEDURE? Don't look to us to be the decision makers, this is your venue.

Fuck California for being overrun by worthless NIMBYs.

Smug-ass liberals love to laugh at us “dumb rednecks” (as if there aren’t leftist rednecks like me) for being fascists, but sceech “GO AWAY POORS! WE’RE FULL!” and fight tooth and nail to never have their cities grow ever like they WANT to be the flyover state. This also means that people like me who never fit in with their hometown are stuck here because these dipshits decided that they’re “fancy”.

You’re only a Californian because of your own dumb luck, not your big brain. Want to live in a flyover community? This Ohioan would happily trade places with any one of you. I’ll even take living in Sacramento if it means I can get my dirty redneck hands all over mr. Fancy pant’s overglorified country club of a state.
