of course his head got turned by the potential for fame and success beyond his wildest dreams if he just plays nice with the Democratic establishment. It would happen to literally anyone in his position, and has happened over and over again. Obama probably told him that he could be president one day if he plays his cards right, he's obviously a talented enough politician to manage it if they backed him. Running within the confines of the Democratic ticket inevitably leads to these outcomes, yet myopic rightist DSA types are still obsessed with doing so.
Zohran's non-native. He can't ever be president.
I think not being able to become president is one of Mamdani's positive aspects. Maybe the limitation on ambition can help keep some shred of honesty.
Senator is a cushy gig
I don't think this has actually ever been tested
No way a conservative court is ever allowing it and there's no way a liberal court is allowing it unless the candidate is a liberal darling.
The Dems would only allow it if it were a republican candidate
FTFY. A liberal court would write a sternly worded letter and wear a RBG dissent collar while making sure to narrowly block it.
Yeah lol, he could be compromised but this is just delusion lol
huh, interesting. I would have guessed the US of all places would allow that kind of thing
