So why was the “left” too busy quaking in their boots out of fear of alienating them instead of trying to find ways to restrict their vote?
Yes, they’re a threat. So stop them from voting at the very least. I don’t care how popular it is, if policies do not conform to empirical evidence, don’t do it.
Disenfranchising Nazis would be a betrayal of the cherished liberal democracy tenet of ensuring full representation for people with antithetical beliefs.
