Levels of letting the players fuck the monsters:

No
Yes but you just get mauled/eaten because that's a bulette
Yes and everythings romantic and great for a dozen sessions until it turns out the monster has been manipulating your feelings this entire time and breaks your heart and possibly some other organs in the process of betraying you.
