The ones that I've seen come in adobo sauce. They're amazing in chili with some other peppers -- I like to use fresh Anaheims and poblanos, and unfortunately I can only get canned Hatch. All four of those together? By their powers combined,
God. That is an absolutely incredible idea, and I will be stealing it next time I make a chili (which I should do soon, actually). Sadly the last time I saw fresh Hatch chiles was 4 years ago. Fresh peppers are just amazing.
