I don't think I've ever seen anyone actually use it as a slur
Is this word also related to ghosts? Or am I on the wrong path here. I also have never seen it as a slur and only recently learned it in an article about American white supremacy.
Yeah, that's the one. Commonly used to refer to spies or ghosts, sometimes by analogy to ghosts to social constructs, also an obscure and archaic amerikkkan slur for Black people.
I didn't know it was for spies, either. I thought it was just generally for any 3 letter agency people. The more you know
I'm using spies and three letter agency people interchangeably.
