I wonder if they're working on a way to let Trump burn and have JD Vance pick up the torch.
For sure. It is clear that none in the Republican top likes each other, and they all loathe Trump and hate having to kiss his ass all the time. But they can't make a move as long as he has the Republican voterbase in his pocket.
For a short while it did seriously look like it caused a dent between Trump and his voters, but now it seems like they have already moved on, when they found out that the Epstein case didn't so much implicate Democrats as it did Trump.
I know people think the bad shit ends with the One Big Beautiful Obituary. But JD's handlers are competent people. And he's such a jellyfish that he might as well be an actual sock puppet.
The bad shit doesn't end, but it does get upended. They've built the whole thing up around Trump. He will not be easy to replace while maintaining the support of the cultists. Vance doesn't even remotely have what it takes to be a cult leader. The question is, will the cultists' support be needed at that point?
Vance would definitely be a step up in competence, if for no other reason than he would probably start replacing people, since the current line-up only had loyalty to HitlerPig. But he is still evil, and shouldn't be in the Oval Office.
And MAGA will end with HitlerPig's death. It is a cult of personality, and he has deliberately structured it that way. There is no succession. When he dies, a dozen people will claim to be his hand-picked successor, starting with Jr. None of them will be accepted by the MAGA followers, and their influence will wane quickly.
When that happens, it will be easy to roll up the criminals who ran wild under HitlerPig. They won't benefit by his immunity or pardons, and they'll have to answer for their evil deeds. That is, if the Dems actually do their job, and round up those traitors and prosecute them.
I wish I had faith in the Dems playing their part, in this scenario. My bet is that they will try to maintain the status quo, even as everyone yells at them to act...... I used to think that they were being "honorable" but now I think it's cowardice and corruption. Most Dems are weak little people barely a step better than their GOP counterparts, and those that aren't are downvoted by those that are. They are far too invested in "I got mine"! This current crop of Dems are AFRAID of the GOP, probably because they have their own corruption to hide, and are afraid of retaliation.
He can't direct the masses like Trump, though. They lose the magahats if Vance had to take over. Though, they've likely already lost a lot of them.
Count on it. Peter Theil holds Vance's leash, and he will definitely want to put his Blood Boy in the chair. The question is: Will the other Sociopathic Oligarchs be comfortable with a different Sociopathic Oligarch getting all the power instead of them? HitlerPig is easy to deal with because he can be easily bought. Vance may not be so easily manipulated, since he has to follow Theil's orders.
Vance met with Murdoch of Fox news privately so Im guessing so.
