You only value Israeli lives shown by the fact that you think Israel should be able to murder Palestinians without retaliation. You even wish to protect Israeli military bases against retaliation.

Nice strawman, but no. Funnily enough most people in my irl surrounding argue with me because I stand against Israels cruel attacks on Palestinian civilians and they argue about self-defence and October attacks. And they say the same like that I "think Hamas should just be able to murder Israeli civilians".
It's bullshit either way. Just because I think it's horrible what Israel does and how they attack civilians doesn't mean I think it's good that Hamas also does that, and the other way around.

captured colonisers and IDF are not 'hostages'.
