So that makes sense. What if I have stuff I want to get rid of that's large and heavy and no one wants to help with

I don't know if there's any "peer to peer odd jobs" type apps available where you live, but that's how I got rid of my broken couch that had been taking up space for over 6 months. One post and a very reasonable fee and it was gone in 3 days!
