Hello everyone,

I raised the point recently already, but to make it short

I tried to reach out to the active poster, who posted to the lemmy.dbzer0 community in the past before switching back to programming.dev, and I guess they disagree with some of the stances of dbzer0 (probably the pro AI one)

Programming.dev has a few hiccups from time to time, but for a few months it has been stable

What do people think?

You know what, sure. Just take the reins, I'm not able to do so. :)

I think I was a bit reactionary since I'm a dbzer0 admin and her reasoning is flawed, but I guess if it works, it's fine. Have a good day!

Thanks!

Well, now I have to convince @cm0002@lemmy.world to switch too, that might be another task altogether x)

Np. Honestly I'm a bit relieved since I haven't been feeling with my communities at all :( pretty burnt out for months straight lol

Hopefully y'all find success in the new comm

No worries, it's understandable! I plan to recruit a few more mods for a few communities I had to migrate following the lemm.ee shutdown to avoid that too.

Lol I'll go wherever the flow is going, though iirc the MAU deficit was more than half between the 2, so that might be an uphill battle

But yea, if you feel this is the best move, I'll redirect

Though, I will say, I find this beef with AI-gen'd stuff rather silly, people should shit on proprietary profit-driven AI companies and support open source AI

I don't really care about AI, if there's an active poster on a non controversial instance I think following their lead probably makes the more sense
