I live in Connecticut. All of CTs electoral votes are going to go to the Democrats. Our tiny, insignificant number of electoral votes. So it's a waste of time to vote for either major party for president here. Therefore I vote third party. If a third party gets 20% of the popular vote, they're automatically on the ballots and in the debates in 4 years. It's the only way my vote for president can potentially matter at all.
