i have a friend who worked in DOT, she says he was on site often and sending emails weekly
And yet I-35 through downtown Austin was approved. Houston continued to widen their highways despite no one wanting it. And Amtrak still sucks. Trains derailing every day. I was not impressed by his tenure. Seemed very “business as usual”. Just one more lane bro!
