you should refrain from directing a fan' or having strong AC on throughout the night. This is because the concentrated cool air can make your muscles tense and cramp up,

I know burgerpeople who set their AC to like 19C or 20C at night with a ceiling fan so they can use heavy blankets

I live in a cold climate and start sweating when it hits 65F if I do anything more than be motionless and even I don't put the AC below 77F when I'm in a hot place.

just anecdotally I once woke up with a fucked neck that i'm pretty sure was caused by pointing a regular box fan at my head overnight

always pointed it off to the side since, and it hasn't happened again

If it's 60-65 inside I'll get cramps in my legs if I don't have a thick blanket, your body temperature regulation goes a little weird while sleeping I think.
