rookie max deal? as in he is currently on his rookie contract, and now they extended him to a max?
He’s on his rookie deal so they’re giving him the Rookie Max Extension. Means he’ll be eligible for a Supermax if he hits the right acolades
Unless I'm mistaken, it's usually at least one of first team all NBA, DPOY, MVP.
