Does headless monitor fixes on Wayland mean we can stream 4k video to a 4k device without having a 4k monitor on our PC?

You can use Apollo for that, a Sunshine fork with more features: https://github.com/ClassicOldSong/Apollo

No you can't, because it's Windows only.

It lists mac and linux support on it's homepage.

They also provide docker support for running it on non-supported linux distros. Pinging @Overspark@feddit.nl since they were the ones who recommended Apollo to begin with.

From the usage section on their github:

Currently Virtual Display support is Windows only, Linux support is planned and will be implemented in the future.
