It takes time to scale up. The bottleneck is usually residency, where we don't have enough doctors to train the new ones

Good points, thanks! I know we have people who immigrated here and were certified as medical professionals in their home country, yet can’t work here in their field of expertise. What can we do to get them certified to work in BC/Canada?

Make trouble for the government so they make it possible for them to get certified to work in Canada.

I only know for Quebec, but our "college des medicins" is seen by many as blocking some ways to accelerate the count of MDs in the province, gatekeeping a bit.
