The AS7343 Spectral Sensor measures 13 channels of light from (~380nm to 1000nm) as well flicker detection all from a single IC.

Thanks, I haven't read it all yet but it looks interesting. It hadn't occurred to me about the incandescant fridge light, but car headlamps also came to mind.

Still not enough for calibration. This sensor is not able to give you CRI or correct duv values. It can estimate the CCT, though.
