I'm starting to think these guys could need some sensitivity training, perhaps more training on how to identify when they're strangulating people too much.

Thanks, police. Tell us you are violence-seeking fascists without telling us you are violence-seeking fascists. When I was a kid, the police were there “To Serve and Protect.” So much for that.

No, when you were a kid the police was still and always an agent of state repression. You're perception of it maybe was different. Their purpose and behavior? Not so much.
