As an American I don't know where I learned to spell everything with a u like colour or amoung as a kid but I was so confused when my phone kept correcting me

'Amoung' just looks wrong to me. I don't know if it's just another classic English exemption from the rule, or the game has forever changed my perception.

Rather like what tumblr did to 'tumbler'.

I can find no reference to amoung, and have never seen it spelt like that. We're either getting trolled or there's a lie being told somewhere, because I've never, ever heard of this.

I don't know what to tell you haha that's just how I spelt it growing up until I saw a band that spelled it among and had to look it up, I think just having the o without the u felt strange
