The donut tutorial is well known as a first step in Blender.

or you can do the sword tut, imo it was a lot easier to follow, the dudes a great teacher, repetitive when he needs to be, solid pacing

GameDev.tv have some really good beginner Blender courses :) Specifically the "Complete Blender Creator" course.
