Lud wasn't against tech he was rather against how capital owners would use it to fuck over the working class.

Bugs Bunny was being sarcastic when comparing Elmer Fudd to him (because in the mythology, Nimrod was actually good at hunting).
Correct, they opposed technology that would remove workers and make their input less valuable.
