I feel because it's one where people are most creative. I love being surprised by something that turns out to be yet another loss meme. The origin is quite stupid/boring, but it has become such a great versatile meme.
It must be something to do with the fact that the meme can be boiled down to just this:

A meme's reproducibility is inversely proportional to the complexity. And the proliferation is proportional to the number of possible permutations of the meme without losing recognisably.

These few lines can be represented in so many ways, it hardly gets old.
