Call me jaded and mean, but I don't care about an AI stealing what youve already stolen. The problem with AI isnt whaaaaa that's my IP!
getting mad at people for talking about my art, but only because they dont credit me, and link to my instagram
Unfortunately, for an artist, word of mouth is usually the only thing that gets us enough money to pay rent. So a lack of proper attribution does actively hurt artists. That being said, a lot of artists mistake the problem (art as a commodity under capitalism) for some kind of vague "copyright" issue and think that the tools of the system designed to benefit the rich will magically turn around and support the little guy for a change, just because.
