Corporations are socialist
propagandists redefining fascism to be "corporatism" a la Mussolini is still paying off dividends.
I had a coworker tell me, with a straight face, that corporations are socialist because they're owned by a bunch of people who get a share of the profits.
American propaganda was so thorough that there's a uncomfortable amount of people out there that think:
Communism is when certain kinds of things get shared.
And the list of how or what gets shared (and therefore becomes communist) is entirely arbitrary.
