What is "quality of life"? I would argue it hasn't really gone up a great deal since the 90s.
If you live in a very privileged country then maybe that is your experience. The rest of the world however has only barely started catching up in terms of food security. None the less the situation is soooo much better than it was 30 years ago. Its still not good by any means, but to say that it hasnt gone up is absurd.
Yeah, alright, fair enough, food security I think can legitimately be counted as objective quality of life
