kind of confirms my theory that people who hate us just take everything they read on the internet extremely literally and at face value all the time. It's like they just turn into
once your jokes deviate from regurgitated redditisms or tenuously related media references
Masses, Elites, and Rebels: the Theory of "Brainwashing" regularly proving to be a must read. People always license themselves to believe what they want, so they will uncritically accept that which conforms to their views even in the face of opposing evidence, generally.
