This is a community for discussion, news, and memes pertaining to the video game sub-genre "soulslike".
Given Lemmy's size, the definition of soulslike may be treated relatively loosely. While games like the numerous FromSoft titles, the recent Star Wars Jedi games, Lies of P, Nioh and similar games should be the focus, games that incorporate soulslike elements - like Hollow Knight and Blasphemous, for example - may also be discussed here.

It's a godsend for motivity builds for sure. I'm not landing the charged heavy attack on the Nameless Puppet normally with a big slow hammer.
What weapon combination do you usually play? You could try the Live Puppet handle and a dagger on top for motivity scaling but faster attacks (at the cost of damage, sadly, but maybe easier to deal with overall)
Another funny thing I was made aware of for the fight: just use the special grindstone that auto-parries all attacks for a given amount of time. Never thought of doing that, but it's actually genius - would have made the fight heaps easier
Oh I'm not interested in faster attacks. I'm interested in unga bunga, and Shot Put is but a means to an end. My grindstone is permanently on the stagger ATK buff.
