Good news for those that keep their phones for multiple years. It made sense for them to do this.

Oh, I know it's anecdotal. I also know others have issues with the Pixel 6 and 7 getting really hot.

Yep... fully aware of some saying their devices are getting hot. My Pixel 6 Pro got hot exactly once while navigating here in LA. Not sure what caused it, but it was hot to the point that I had to hold it to one of the ac vents. My 7 Pro got only slightly warm occasionally and I'm having similar experiences with the Fold. Not to say that it's a normal thing, but it's hot to the extent that others have experienced.

It's like the fingerprint sensor complaint. I could repeatedly get my prints to register without fail when some others were having issues. I'm almost worried that Google is switching to an ultrasonic sensor instead of optical because I haven't had the same luck with the ultrasonic sensor that Samsung used in the S21 Ultra and S23 Ultra. I dunno. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Anyhow, hope that your next phone, Pixel or otherwise, treats you better.
