Don’t you love when you have a banh mi place that every time you get one you’re just, like, “this is the best banh mi I’ve ever had”? Also love when you’re eating a banh mi and you get that moment when you’re staring down a chilli thinking it won’t be so bad but also know it’s going to punch your mouth up in the most delicious of ways?

I’m a happy girl.

Yes but lately I've been making my own. That way I can put as much coriander and crackle as I like without asking.

My latest (made with roast pork. Not belly)

put as much coriander

Yuss!

Don't listen to the people with the genetic coriander soap thing it's their loss.

ewwww. It tastes like soap

yeah. I bet your mummy cuts the crusts off your sandwiches

(I haven't had a smoke all day. I have hard to hear opinions)

That looks absolutely delicious!! And yes, excellent points about being able to do your own unhinged ratios with no judgement.

I’ve never had one of these before.

Apparently there’s a place in Bentleigh that seems to review well that makes these.

Do yourself a favour and grab one.

[–] Duenan@aussie.zone 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I’ll have to see. I’m really trying to save money at the moment.

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Shop around. You can buy one for around $10.

I’ll have to wait till my next pay or the pay after to be able to get one.

[–] Duenan@aussie.zone 2 points 2 weeks ago

I think that’s how much the Bentleigh one costs.

There's a banh mi place near work that's good. I've only ever had the tofu version, but I should swing by in the morning and have the breakfast banh mi because even the tofu tastes great

This sounds like an excellent idea, enjoy your breakky banh mi!!

I wasn't going to buy my lunch tomorrow, but banh mi 🥲🥲
