A twelve-ounce can (or a 355 mL can) is the same volume throughout the world. However, a Diet Dr. Pepper is lighter than a Dr. Pepper due to the weight of the high-fructose corn syrup in the non-diet version. If you make the non-diet version cane sugar instead, it will have a different weight. But now we’re discussing grams instead of milliliters.
