Need to provide context or definition.

Left wing are designated by the colour red in the UK. Red means right wing in the US.

Are you actually talking about a colour or politics? Everyone knows that in the US everything is pro or anti Trump even when the person they're talking at isn't 'Mercan. Soup, soap, potatoes, carrots.

Or is it as simple as, for example, 'Lady in Red' by Chris de Burgh?
