I just assumed she was on some sort of Disney blacklist after the lawsuit.

I actually assume the opposite. I think one of the reasons former CEO Bob Chapek had such a short tenure is because of the lawsuit.

The lawsuit was a massive blunder for Disney. Yes, all corporations are heartless, blah blah blah. However publicly screwing over one of the biggest movie stars? That's a problem for business. You want the big stars to make deals with Disney, to make deals with Marvel. If you're willing to screw over Scarlett Johansson, you're willing to screw over anyone.

In the short term you save a few million bucks.

In the long term you miss out on billions.
