Given that their april 2023 posting was for an action game, id say its a safe guess to assume thats the direction its going https://web.archive.org/web/20230415153612/https://hr.geeq.co.jp/job/101843
I think an actual action rpg would be better at this point. XBC3 got really stale for me by chapter 5 when every tough enemy just turned into waiting to use that team attack, which killed pretty much everything. I initially liked the story and some of the side quests, but I quit early Ch 6 when the story was devolving into some weird KH levels of convoluted BS, and I saw that despite finishing a BUNCH of side quests by that point, there were a billion more waiting for me.
Well, XC3 is one of my favourite game, and I loved every minute of it. But I agree that enemy encounters did take some time. Also, as I said above, I want them to try something new. It would be nice to see their take on action RPG.
Best to play with the rebalance mods. I've played through Xenoblade 3 and the DLC a few times with it both on my switch and on my PC (4k 60fps HDR with my switch pro pad on my TV via Yuzu emulator). They make the gameplay so much better.
Oh wow are there mods like that now? Only ones they had back when I played were to make the framerate and graphics look better, pretty much.
Yep, keves arts don't take an age to recharge now for one thing
Have a look on gamebanana for a good few options
Interesting.
