Only UK is known to have only moderate decline, but they probably think it's independence for UK to buy Tesla, because fuck Europe for some reason???

UK Tesla sales are starting from a much lower base. Sales in the UK were essentially half of what they were in Germany before the recent decline.

BYD is now the largest EV brand by sales in the UK, ahead of Tesla. Whereas in Germany Tesla is still the leading manufacturer, even after the drop.

Also, the UK EV market in general grew last year, whereas sales of EVs across all brands declined in Germany over the same period

in Germany Tesla is still the leading manufacturer, even after the drop.

I seriously doubt that, because here in Denmark pure VW ALONE beat Tesla on EV sales, and VW group absolutely trounces Tesla.
VW group = VW + Audi + Skoda + Cupra (SEAT)+ Porsche.

Generally you don't lose almost three quarters of your marketshare to others and remain on top. That's the number for January!

I found a stat for 2024 EV sales in Germany:
https://www.best-selling-cars.com/germany/2024-full-year-germany-best-selling-electric-cars-by-brand-and-model/

So as you can see, it's the same in Germany as in Denmark, Tesla is not even close to #1 for 2024, they aren't even 2nd. BMW passed them too.
If you consider VW group against Tesla, they have more than 3.5 times as big marketshare in EV now!! With 35.3% against Tesla with 9.9%.

This is for 2024, and 2025 is already much much worse, and everything points to Tesla declining even further this year.
Tesla is down to 6th place in Denmark for January!!!
