That depends on the mission. If it is take pictures and send them back that is easy so long as you can accept some lag - just fly around and record until the jamming stops - which you can handle by flying back. You can also say "if jammed take out any found target within X distance" (where X is the distance to the nearest thing that could be yours) - you might not get the ideal target but hitting a decoy still means the next drone won't make that mistake and you might randomly find something valuable. If there are a group of drones it is possible they can still communicate with each other (close communication is harder to jam) and thus triangulate where the jammer is and then take it out (or one drone fly back to give that information back thus getting a different drone sent to the jammer).
The scifi ideal is the drone just hunts a target on its own and can recognize things never seen before as targets while never accidentally hitting your own things. This is not possible today, but there are a lot of lesser things that are possible and those can be useful.
Of course we don't know what this thing does. It might or might not be anything useful. Only time will tell - though you might be dead before the information needed to know is declassified.
