Long story short: naar alle waarschijnlijkheid zal er op 11 februari a.s. een wet worden aangenomen in de Eerste Kamer die de minister van Justitie en Veiligheid de bevoegdheid geeft om, zonder tussenkomst van een rechter, 'ondermijnende organisaties' te verbieden.

Dit is een slecht idee, oorspronkelijk door de PVDA geopperd tegen motorbendes, maar de invoering van de wet kan serieuze gevolgen hebben als deze wet zou worden misbruikt.

I'm not sure about the technicalities, but this law would skirt the judiciary check on the ban of certain groups.

The eerste Kamer should check on legality in this case, the fact that legal scholars project heavily to this I don't think that a judge can throw this out.
