I’m in the same boat. SimpleLogin is a nice feature, but if this is Proton’s position, they don’t get more of my money.

Firefox Relay seems like a good, free choice?

Also custom domain if you don't need anonymity (using it to track spam) and want to be able to easily switch providers

Firefox Relay seems like a good, free choice?

Honestly, no. With the recent changes to Mozilla's leadership, you never know which service is being shut down next. Relay also only offers a very limited free plan. I'd recommend checking out addy.io instead.

How do I actually cancel the auto renew? Couldn't see a way to do it, just removed all the valid card details in the end
