Yeah, I thought the joke in this one was weaker than usual too.

I guess Aquaman as a firefighter makes sense, and so does a Flash as a delivery man, but Superman as a doctor isn't as clear.

I assumed it was because doctors save lives and that's kind of what Superman is known for even though that's not necessarily a specific trait

I understood it as just being that doctors are superheroes cause of the nature of their work, though the interpretation works better if it was a nurse imo.
