Luigi's Manifesto (www.kenklippenstein.com)
submitted 1 week ago by lukes26@lemm.ee to c/usa@lemmy.ml

“To the Feds, I'll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn't working with anyone. This was fairly trivial: some elementary social engineering, basic CAD, a lot of patience. The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To Do lists that illuminate the gist of it. My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there. I do apologize for any strife of traumas but it had to be done. Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy. United is the [indecipherable] largest company in the US by market cap, behind only Apple, Google, Walmart. It has grown and grown, but as our life expectancy? No the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allwed them to get away with it. Obviously the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain. It is not an issue of awareness at this point, but clearly power games at play. Evidently I am the first to face it with such brutal honesty.”

Post got removed in .world for not being a "news source" even though Klippenstein is definitely a very established independent journalist, so trying again here I guess.

I heard there was more, about his mother’s back pain and dealing with the insurance for that.

That one is unconfirmed at best, it might be real, but there are several parts of it that don't really make sense.

Yeah he doesn't seem to like he's got back pain. He loves very smoothly in the video, plus he's young and active

Fuck off with that shit dude. I had a massively herniated disc, l5-s1, that’s led to numbness in my leg and foot as well as chronic back pain. I’m not doubled over all day. I’m not forced to use a walker or a cane or something. I can move around, but certain things will lead to my paying for them in the next few hours or days.

I’ve gotten in full on fist fights after my back shit. I was still able to hold my shit down and stomp the dude who jumped me out, but I literally couldn’t move the next day once the adrenaline wore off and and my back muscles started seizing up.

I think the backpain part is true, according to people who know him it was a surfing accident. His reddit account also talks about chronic pain and complications from that, like brainfog.

Oh yeah! I recall reading about all surf accident.

Yeah that one's unconfirmed but also very likely just entirely made up by someone
