I haven't got a Spotify either, but in the spirit of sharing our music lists my top 5 were:
Tim Curry doing Mick Jagger
Paul Kelly doing Taylor Swift
Living Colour's Times Up album
Metallingus by Alter Bridge
XTC Dear God
Loving seeing everyone's lists on here.
Love rears it's ugly head is a regular on our playlist. Such a great song to play loud.
One of my karaoke favourites lol. I can say that I absolutely do not do it justice though lol.
Mine too ๐
Okay how have I never seen Tim Curry do Mick Jagger!? So fucking good! ๐๐
Spud, did you ever see Tim Curry do Shakespeare? One of the most memorable itv shows evah
"Did you ever see the girls, very humble, always on their knees ...... in prayer" ...lol
No! But I'm gonna find it now!!!
He nailed it ๐๐
I didn't even know about Paul Kelly doing Taylor Swift. I need a covers album stat.
That'd be awesome! For me this song hits like when Johnny Cash covered Hurt. This cover has a gravity and poignancy the original lacks (ok and I just love Paul Kelly).
alter bridge sound very much like qotsa
I mainly know this song because Elder Minipeeler is into WWE wrestling and this used to be Edge's intro song. An oldy but still gets me pumped up. The singer (Myles Kennedy) often accompanies Slash when he tours or records, and as a former guitar teacher, is worth a listen. Tremonti also worth a listen if you like your music a little harder.
Mine were
Hyperdrive by Excision & Benda - suuuuch a good pump up song.
Hold Me Tight by Kim Yeji from the KDrama Eve
Love From the Other Side by Fall Out Boy - have been in love with that album since it came out
APT by Rose and Bruno Mars - didn't think I'd listened to it thaaaat much, but boyo is also crazy about it.
Everything by Said the Sky - just makes me feel things.
