Urgh. My online friends are doing drama again. There are instigators who genuinely are being cunts but everyone else keeps reacting and feeding into it which keeps the cycle going.

I’m just gonna be over here trying to live.

I bought some cheap kids pencils for a few dollars because I want some I wouldn’t be bothered by losing or using up, and am swatching them to see how they stack up against the crap $15 ones.

Trying to stay up to try and fix my sleep schedule but I don’t think it’s going to work. At least it might push the window to having a little more daytime wakefulness

You don't have to engage. You can unfollow, unsub, ignore or switch off the socials for a few days. Sticking around when this type of thing happens (a bit like the Other Site exodus) just means you have to take some responsibility for how it makes you feel. A lot of people dont understand that, but its true. Not saying you do this, but I am saying make sure you DONT do this: I cant STAND people who expose themselves to toxic crap and then go "woe is me, I'm covered in toxic crap" like they didnt expose themselves to it in the first place.

yeah, i was exposed as a kid

there are lots of us who didn't, who couldn't, give consent

lots of workers out there who didn't choose their boss or who are exposed to toxic customers and who struggle to get out

toxic neighbour? same

stress relief is needed so that people can get the mental energy to do something

but crying victim as a manipulative ploy, few things make me angrier

This is very true, many times you can’t escape the toxic due to circumstances out of our control. Not in the short term anyhow. Like the ones you mentioned - neighbours, work etc. need to find ways to disengage and let it flow by to maintain your own sanity.

Yeah I’m sick of it and off doing something else. Not participating. I just wish it was interaction as normal
