Melbcat just accidentally almost yanked my earring out. I think she got her claw hooked and just pulled. Woke up to my earlobe being painfully stretched and my sleeper had popped open under pressure - I then had to literally unhook her claw from it.

It’s a bit sore so perhaps there was a tiny scratch or tear inside the piercing from the earring. I’ve washed it with soap and water and used some Betadine because my earlobe piercings are super prone to getting infected

The LittleOne does this quite intentionally. He likes shiny things. Having a nose ring grabbed at 2am isn't as fun for the human.

It’s an accident over here! She cuddles so close she pushes me out, gets her hands caught, or has a dream and kicks me in the ribs.

But it’s worth it for the sweet cuddles. She sleeps being held like a baby
