For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

It'd be fun to visit 1995 and ty to explain 2024 politics to people then.

"So that guy who dropped out of the Democrats' 1988 primary campaign because of plagiarism has been president for a term and is completely senile."

"Wow, that's awful. I hope no big global problems happened after 2020 that needed some proper leadership."

"Yeah... anyway, he was too senile to run for a second term, and his VP ran instead on a platform of everything being fine and that genocide is actually OK."

"Wait, what?"

"Anyway his VP lost."

"Because of the genocide thing, right?"

"Well maybe. But mostly because a bad actor from NewsRadio endorsed the Republican."

"Wait... who was the Republican?"

"That sleazy New York real estate guy who's gone bankrupt a few times. He had a cameo in Home Alone 2. He really won over the rural demographic."
