If my choice of protest vote is between principled socialists and someone who allies with a racist liberal right out of the gate, there isn't a functional reason to vote for Greens over PSL short of encouraging more capitulation to the right. The whole point of that protest vote is to say there's a basic standard of not being right-wing.
