Note that Bashir is not yawning, but doing that weird wall shuffling-screaming thing that no one understands, probably not even Siddig or the director at the time of filming.

Now MOOOOVE ALOOOOOONG HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEM! (Whacks those weird wood sticks together.)

Finally, some Mathematically Perfect Redemption hate.

Drag thinks Peanut Hamper is boring and was glad she turned good because it meant no more Peanut Hamper episodes hopefully. Star Trek is supposed to be hopeful and PH sucks. And not in a fun way like Dukat or Janeway. She's a good example of the banality of evil.

I agree. I recently re-watched the four seasons of Lower Decks after having seen the whole series only once before and thus having forgotten many details and episodes. That Peanut Hamper episode was the only one I skipped immediately as soon as I realised which episode it was. Just awful and boring, both the episode and the character.

I think MPR goes beyond boring. I think it's an anti-masterpiece - designed to drive any viewer insane.

They systematically build you up with that Star Trek hope, only to knock you down and step on your head.

The only kind of redeeming moment is that sort of "We will go on" moment with the Areore at the end. Honestly, despite being a satirical Star Trek species in an otherwise terrible episode, the Areore were kind of fun and I wouldn't mind seeing them again.
