Is anyone else's NBN completely screwed or is this a job I need to sort?

How does one tell if it's completely screwed? Well, more so than usual.

Mine is just intermittent red lights on the router but yet completely non functional. We're tethering off my phone.

And I get the meme of hating on NBN but ours is typically rock solid and full speed :(

It sounds stupid because you prolly have already done this, but try turning it off and on again. Turn off, unplug from wall, hold power switch to drain, and then plug back in and turn on. If that doesn't work, and there are no outages in your area, you might need to get a new router, or go into the router settings and see if it's all normal

Lol! Never had that kind of call centre job ๐Ÿ˜… just have 2 dead PC's, one alive PC, and a modem/router that I've troubleshooted since 2010 haha. Just an amateur nerd type. I couldn't tell you what settings in the router need to be, but I know you can access it ๐Ÿ˜…

One time, at my last job, a customer said 'rooter', and I thought 'wtf are you saying right now?!'. Took me a hot minute to realise she meant 'router'.

Who says 'rooter'!? I died after the call ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ญ

I believe the rest of the world calls it a 'rooter', we have different pronunciation here due to pre-existing slang. I've had a couple of interesting convos with American colleagues in former jobs.
