Let me guess, that "what it is" is gonna be some personal blaming and "how to stop it" will amount just to bootstraps. Brb going to read the article.

EDIT: and of course, it's just the good same old fiscal responsibility and bootstraps talk, which isn't surprising because the author was "a product engineer". And as cherry on top at the end they try to sell you their own bootstrap course:
